Moon Vs Thunder

I love this poem. The imagery of a war or battle between thunder and the moon is brilliant. Yay-for Ms.vee!!!

Everyone is Welcome!

Thunder is growling at the moon

Demanding attention with its boisterous voice

Bruising the soft floating clouds

As they slowly pass by

Darkening the passageway of the shooting stars

Trying to force its way to the forefront, to take

Control of the night, you’re not needed moon

Lightning will strike, and give light tonight

The bickering continues; as Moon vs Thunder

With power lines struck, and trees on the ground

The moon still shines, big, bright and round

Ulysses – The symbol of Transformation!

very interesting and poignant blog post.

There is a Native American legend that says, ” If you have a secret wish, capture a butterfly and whisper your wish to it. Since butterflies cannot speak, your secret is ever safe in their keeping. Release the butterfly, and it will carry your wish to the Great Spirit, who alone knows the thoughts of butterflies. By setting the butterfly free, you are helping to restore the balance of nature, and your wish will surely be granted.”
They are a symbol of change, joy, and color. (There is also an association of Faerie folklore with butterflies.) Their flight appears as dancing, and a reminder not to take things so seriously. They have a sense of lightness and joy. They are reminders to get up and move, for if you can move you can dance, and dance brings joy.
The butterfly is a powerful symbol for transformation. It leaves the safety…

The Female Roars

The Female Roars off :

my other rarely used blog: http://dirtyfilthybutterflyblues.blogspot.com/

The Female Roars-

(written for Lisa)

It starts with an explosion.

Fits of outrage, fur and teeth,

the Lioness Roars

in order to protect her cubs.

She is all complete Beauty,

in that mere moment

of raw agony and fierce loyalty.

She will fight to the death,

to protect her young ones.

She is a wild force of nature.

You do not want to be,

the one who has crossed

her.

She has perfected protection,

to the essentials

of sharpen teeth, claws, and

utter strength.

To threaten her cubs,

is foolish, and the results

could be very dangerous

if not even deadly.

Human Mothers are not

that much different.

When push comes to shove-

The Female Roars.

written for Lisa.

Prayers from the Galactic Center

Beautiful poetry.

Wuji Seshat

My lord takes his delight in stars
In the middle regions of the sky
In blessed spirits that mirror light
Radiant with the music of the night

My Queen takes her movement
From the waves, from the rain
Her wondrous effulgence
*
In each of her beloved thoughts
It pours and pours and never ceases
She is nature without judgment
Cycles without wait, nectars of belonging

Vaster than global consciousness
On that shore that is not a city
My lord and my Queen reside in thee
With pure white of white, delight and fire.
